Welcome to Maryland's newest volleyball club.   We were formerly known as division of Vienna Elite Volleyball Club but have formally changed our club name to, "DMV Volleyball Academy" to better support the Maryland and DC area.  Vienna Elite Volleyball Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing affordable volleyball that balances high level competitive volleyball in a family-friendly environment.  Vienna Elite Volleyball Club was originally formed in 2010 to address the growing demand for youth volleyball in Northern Virginia.  We have expanded into the Maryland and DC area by becoming one of the owners of The Michael & Son's Rockville Sportsplex in 2021. 

Vienna Elite Volleyball Club owns and manages, "DMV Volleyball Academy."    We are here to develop and curate a volleyball organization for all level of players from beginners to seasoned club players. 

This season DMV Volleyball Academy will be offering club volleyball programs for boys and girls from ages U12 thru U18 as well as adult programs and leagues.

We hope to provide an affordable club volleyball experience in a family-friendly environment.  We want to provide motivated junior volleyball players the ability to play at a more competitive level year round. The goal is to produce players capable of competing successfully at the high school varsity level as well as to support players and parents who have aspirations to play at the various collegiate levels. We strive to be best value club in Maryland, DC and Northern Virginia considering price, competitiveness, tournament schedule and access to court time with quality coaches.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

• Girls Teams will be U12 thru U18.   Every effort will be made to form single age teams.  However, some teams could be a combination of two ages (ie U12/U13 or U13/U14, U14/U15, U15/U16, U16/U17, U17/U18).  Much will depend on the number of players that are interested and committed to play a rigorous club team.

• Member of the Chesapeake Regional Volleyball Association (CHRVA) region of USA Volleyball (USAV).

• Tryouts in October/November for girls with the season running from mid - November through end of end of May.

• Two mandatory team practices per week at The Rockville Sportsplex in Rockville, MD.  

• Optional Monthly individual skills development (i.e. serving, setting, hitting, team defense etc.) run by qualified coaches.

• Occasional "Academy" program on non-tournament weekends to improve player skills through advanced instructional techniques.

• 2 to 5 single day-long regional tournaments and 4 to 6 multi-day travel/overnight tournaments.
